    October is my second favourite month. The summer heat is gone, so I feel more comfortable. Mornings are foggy, which I absolutely love, butternut squash is in season, and it’s the perfect temperature for baking – I hate to turn on the oven when it’s 35 degrees outside and 25 inside. This is also the time when I get more creative after my summertime depression, and I’m happier to sit down and draw, paint or experiment with something new.
